Comments from Parents
No, for the last time, we do not have a program for parents! We know that you get jealous of your son or daughter's opportunity to get away from their normal routine of school and home out at Camp Highland Outdoor Science School. If we had a nickel for every time we spoke with a parent who asked... "Do you guys offer something like this for the parents?" (Wink, Wink)
Well, unfortunately, we do not offer a program for parents but we love when you email us or call to let us know how great of a time your child had with us and all of the things they were able to learn. And we're sorry about the golden rule. ;-) Here you will find a collection of some of the comments we have received from loving parents, with the names left out to protect the innocent of course...

Dear Camp Highland Staff,
My twins arrived home filthy, tan, tired and sore. In short, the
perfect week of adventure! They are already asleep in their beds,
curled up with their animals and smiles on their faces. I just wanted
to say a very heart felt thank you for taking such great care of my
children this week and providing what I am quite sure will be life long memories.
Very best regards,
T. P.
"Where is your page for parent comments?? LOL
I just picked my daughter up at Magnolia Elementary School. She had a blast!! She actually climbed ALL THE WAY to the top of Alpine Tower!! She said that she only wanted to go 1/2 way, but that Puma "pressured" her to go all the way!! Thank you so much Puma! Our thoughts are with you in the hopes that your Mom is doing better! :-)
She spoke of Becca, I think the cabin counselor, and talked about making a wish and blowing out the lights each night. And, spoke of Meg and going on those LONG hikes!! And, also someone name J Money?? LOL There are others, but I can't remember all the names.
I cannot fully express what this experience has meant to her. She is starting to bloom as a pre-teen and talked about all of you as if you were best friends! She has always been the type to not do anything that she needed to work hard at and climbing all the way to the top of that tower was a HUGE thing for her! I just wanted you to know how much this experience meant to us....words could never fully express our graditude!
Thank you all!!"
