Who We Hire

The best suggestions and ideas in the world are useless if there isn't the right person and/or staff to carry them out. The success of CHOSS as a result depends largely upon the quality of staff who work here season after season and year after year. This is precisely why CHOSS searches and selects individuals who in no particular order are educated, qualified, experienced, thoroughly enjoy working with students are excellent teachers and are passionate about and have a deep concern for the Earth.

Our staff is from all over the United States and sometimes staff is from Canada, New Zealand and even South Korea. Each individual brings his/her own unique knowledge and experience to our program no matter where they are from. In sharing our collective knowledge, CHOSS is not only an inspiring place for students that attend but also for staff that work here.

All staff is trained in First Aid and CPR, must be able to pass a fingerprint and/or livescan criminal background check, and participates in an intensive training program prior to the start of the work season.

We are proud of our staff, and we invite you to take a look at everyone who eats, drinks, sleeps, sweats, cleans and ultimately has a ton of fun. Who knows... maybe you'll want to become one of them!
