I especially ENJOY working with kids because・
Kids teach patience, the value of friendship how to use my creative side and they offer unconditional love. I love how they don¨t sweat the small things!! Also kids are fun to be around and play with.
My FAVORITE childhood memory is・
Frog hunting with my Dad! I use to live in Illinois from the years 1994-97. During the summer time my Dad and I would wake up at 4am and go to the park and capture frogs from the pond. It was so much fun! I had no idea that frogs screamed until then.
I absolutely LOVE being outdoors because・
It is part of who I am since my childhood years. There is so much beauty to appreciate and a sense of calmness. Wonder and awe that is not found from being indoors. There are so many lessons to learn from nature and animals.
My FAVORITE thing to do in free time is・
I love to read. There is so much to learn continually. I also love to spend time with friends and relax. The last one is to dance. I absolutely love dancing and zumba.
One VERY interesting fact about me is...
I visited Africa on a mission trip and got the stomach virus that lasted one week. I was so sick that I stayed in bed resting for two whole days.
If I were a superhero I would be Sue Storm because・ besides the fact her powers allow her to become invisible, I like that she is an intelligent, sophisticated and a very strong willed women. She also believes in justice and truth. The world needs more people like this.

I was at the last game of the Subway Series World Series when the Yankees beat the Mets in 2000.
I love being outdoors because:
It's without equal. Man will never produce anything near as awesome as nature.
Favorite thing to do in free time:
Hike, take pictures, go bowling (even though I'm awful), watch the Yankees, spend time with friends, and go on adventures.
One very interesting fact about yourself:
I enjoy defying stereotypes.
If you were a superhero who would you be?
I would be an Animorph from the book series written by K. A. Applegate. I loved it, and always thought it would be awesome to turn into different animals whenever I wanted or needed.

My 1st favorite is: Vacations at Carmel-by-the-Sea in Northern CA every summer with my family. My 2nd favorite is: Spending the hot summer days at La Jolla Shores Beach in San Diego!

So much is new and interesting to them. Even a worm is fascinating, and they are SO EXCITED to hold it and find out new things about it!
My FAVORITE childhood memory is・
Vacationing with my family at lake Dunmore in Vermont. We stayed in a cabin right on the lake. It had minimal electricity, but a fireplace and tons of board games for hanging out after dark, and during the day we explored the banks of the lake looking for snakes toads and frogs, or paddling around the cove in kayaks.
I absolutely LOVE being outdoors because・
Of the beauty that surrounds you in nature. Nature is awe inspiring, much more so than anything you could find inside.
My FAVORITE thing to do in free time is・
Rock climb and slackline.

I have no sense of smell, a condition called Anosmia.

I was on the crew team at Ithaca College and went to NCAAs three times.

I love to play! They keep me curious and adventurous. I love how open their minds are to learning + experiencing new things. I also feel like I¨m making a difference in the world when I work with youth.
My FAVORITE childhood memory is・
Probably going to a Dance Camp called Strawberry Hill. It had that magic to it and was completely outside. They had awesome rope swings and a huge deck built out the side of a mountain as a studio singing, campfires, shadow plays, archery, music, art, awesome!
I absolutely LOVE being outdoors because・
It is where I feel most at ease. Being outside re-centers me and inspires me whether it¨s through photography or teaching. I love sharing the outdoors. It¨s a very social place for me.
My FAVORITE thing to do in free time is・
Being creative whether it is with art or music. I love photographing and playing around on the ukulele or guitar. I also really enjoy graphic design and drawing. In the Winter I LOVE snowboarding, so excited to experience this on the west coast.

I have held a great horned owl

Our trip to Catalina. I was sea sick the whole way but a school of dolphins followed our boat the entire trip.

Everything indoors was manufactured by someone else. Outdoors is the only place to see life in its natural state.
